How to Save a TikTok Cover Image on iPhone and Android

A screenshot of a cover image is always cropped, compressed and stamped with your status bar. Downloading the published image avoids all three problems — the only thing that differs between phones is where the file lands.
Quick answer
iPhone saves the image to the Files app (or Photos if you long-press and choose Add to Photos); Android saves it to the Downloads folder, where the Gallery picks it up.
On iPhone and iPad
- Paste the TikTok link into the thumbnail tool in Safari or Chrome.
